Developed mostly along the coastline, Silvi Marina<\/strong> offers, along its entire length, a promenade ideal for strolling<\/strong>, slowing the pace, stopping at one of the many bars, enjoying an ice cream, or cooling off with a drink. Many are the stores that color the street and equally numerous are the restaurants and pizzerias where you can appreciate typical seafood dishes alongside more traditional fare. <\/p>\n

All, of course, within walking distance of the beach.<\/strong> The landmarks and gathering places are, of course, the squares, which have been redesigned in recent years by local artists and where parties, events, and activities are usually organized throughout the summer.<\/p>\n

At an elevation of about 250 m above sea level, overlooking the northern part of Silvi Marina<\/strong>, is located the most historic area of the town.<\/p>\n

Also on the waterfront is mostly summer social life, which, thanks in part to the various white nights, attracts not only 150,000 Silvarole tourists but also large groups from the entire tourist area.<\/p>\n

Silvi Alta<\/strong>, which traces its roots back to the Middle Ages, is a quaint old town, devoted mainly to historical re-enactments and cultural events throughout the summer season. It also offers one of the most beautiful viewpoints that can be admired in Italy: to describe in words the excitement that a panorama that sweeps from the Marches to the far south of Abruzzo offers to the eye is as difficult as ever.<\/p>\n<\/div>

It is necessary to be there, to look out and breathe; the wonder comes and undoubtedly leaves you speechless!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Silvi and Nature<\/p>\n<\/div>

In Silvi it is possible to seek silence and beauty<\/strong> by diving into the naturalistic opportunities that the country offers.<\/p>\n

On the northern border, in fact, the Cerrano Marine Park<\/a><\/strong>, which has allowed an explosion of fauna and flora especially in the protected areas, which are perfectly usable by the public.<\/p>\n

What if there are hundreds of marine species that find a perfect habitat in the stretch of sea close to the Cerrano Tower<\/strong> (characteristic is the fact that the small and very rare Trivia multitirata, chosen as the emblem of the park itself, has returned to be seen more frequently, testifying to the presence of the corals on which it lives and, consequently, the excellent quality of the water) is probably the one with the Dolphin the most coveted meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to the abundance of food, its sightings below the coast and its familiarity with humans is increasingly common. On the park’s sand dunes and on the pine forest immediately behind the beach, in addition,  many are the birds that nest and stay for the summer<\/strong>; in recent years the discovery that even the Fratino<\/em><\/strong>, a small, endangered bird, has chosen these shores to nest and breed.<\/p>\n

On the border with the municipality of Atri there is also a WWF Protected Area<\/strong>, which protects one of the most spectacular landscapes in the area, that of the Calanchi: To the various activities of trekking, birdwatching, bicycle touring<\/strong>, it is possible to complement the naturalistic landscape and avifaunal photography<\/strong>, perhaps trying to capture the Kingfisher on the banks of the Piomba River or the colorful Bee-eaters that spend the summer on the sheer walls of the gullies. There are also numerous summer activities offered by the two centers, with night tours, horseback riding, etc., for a complete but always respectful immersion in nature.<\/p>\n<\/div>
