Hotel Cirillo was born in 1952 thanks to the resourcefulness of Mr. Edoardo Costantini, a citizen of Silvi who was a tailor by profession. He often traveled to Rome for work, and in his constant travels he matured the idea of opening a hotel, in Silvi in his hometown, while never closing his large tailor shop.

The hotel excelled in its grandeur on the waterfront, was 4 stories high, and upon opening, Mr. Edoardo decided to dedicate it to his father. Cirillo Costantini, was a good and honest man, father of 10 children, prodigal to his family.

Dominating the entrance was an imposing and elegant staircase at the foot of which was a bust of Mr. Cyril.

The elegant and luxurious hotel hosted wealthy clients from Rome and Milan and over the years even famous people such as Marcella Bella and Mogol, and attracted the attention of tourists strolling along the waterfront for the many lights that lit up in the evening in a truly spectacular play of colors.

Opposite Hotel Cirillo, where the Villetta Dépendance is today, there was an elegant Villa, the residence of Mr. Edoardo Costantini.

As the years passed, the tailor, now old and without heirs, decided to sell the hotel, but made the buyers promise that his name would not be changed.

In 1974 the hotel was purchased by the Di Meco Family, which with dedication and passion continues the hotel business to this day, passing the baton from father to son. Today they are Carlo and Piera, helmsmen of this historic hotel.
